Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Tax Compliance
- Complete individual and entity accounting tasks, including data analysis, work paper preparation, and tax returns, while adhering to professional standards.
- Identify and resolve tax-related issues through independent research and collaboration with team members.
- Stay up to date with changing industry standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, including IRS and court rulings.
- Ensure the timely and accurate collection of necessary financial information from clients.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes and contribute insights to engagement teams.
Core Competencies & Technical Skills
Technical Proficiency
- Enterprise Accounting Software experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel (experience with Outlook and databases/CRM software is a plus).
- Ability to manage large datasets, financial documents, and tax records efficiently.
