Key Responsibilities:
Prepare for Trial: Organize exhibits, schedule client meetings, file motions, and coordinate witnesses to ensure attorneys are fully prepared for trial.
Draft Legal Documents: Prepare key legal documents such as pleadings, interrogatories, subpoenas, and affidavits with precision and attention to detail.
Facilitate Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between clients, opposing counsel, and court staff, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
Manage Calendars: Keep attorneys informed of deadlines, court dates, and important meetings to maintain seamless legal processes.
Administrative Support: Maintain organized electronic and paper files to ensure all case materials are readily accessible.
Qualifications:
Experience in Family Law: Minimum of 2 years as a paralegal, with strong knowledge of family law and its unique complexities.
Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, comfortable engaging with individuals at all levels.
Organizational Expertise: Strong time management and organizational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and cases efficiently.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CIS software, Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint. (Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.)
