Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in Oxford, MS. In this role, you will be essential in managing and executing engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and coordinate engineering projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Design Development: Collaborate with design teams to create technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project performance to ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Communication: Act as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, facilitating effective communication.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and address project-related issues, implementing solutions to mitigate risks and ensure success.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and outcomes, preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field)
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles, preferably in construction or manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
